Valerie is a staff engineer who primarily works on designing masonry and segmental retaining walls. She is eager to work on challenging projects and learn new design skills to broaden her structural engineering knowledge.
Living in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, she always saw construction somewhere along the road, whether it was building a new school, commercial space, or office building. She saw all the benefits of designing new structures to the community around her. Along with her love for mathematics growing up, Valerie pursued a career in structural engineering to design new structures for her community.
In her free time, Valerie is actively involved in her church from volunteering in the kids’ ministry to being part of the young adult’s ministry. Valerie enjoys hanging out with friends, spending time with family, and relaxing at home.
